The website of Kate Morris, teacher of English and social historian.

Established for over twenty-five years, HOMESTAY Hertfordshire has provided individual residential tailored courses for foreign speaking professional people. Courses have drawn on the wealth of cultural resources available in St Albans and its surrounding area. Only 20 miles or 20 minutes by train from London and with easy access from London’s airports, St Albans is an accessible microcosm of Englishness and offers attractions which represent all aspects of English history.

As a social historian, Kate Morris provided her own materials for her clients, and has published many works on aspects of the history of St Albans, including, most recently, a history of the charming St Michael’s village, now a suburb of the town.
